Hello! I’m glad you’re here. Welcome to my new URL, kaeseymakes.com. As you’ll see, I’ve kept the same look as the old site but will be adding some additional functionality over the next few weeks.
In the meantime, a few quick updates:
- My version of Tula Pink’s Birdseed Quilt will be on display at Gather Here in Cambridge, MA in August. Gather Here will be displaying Cambridge Modern Quilt Guild quilts on a monthly basis.
- In June, my rhubarb custard pie recipe was published on IKEA’s TogetherWeEat site as part of their Social Summer contest. Scroll through the entries – winter, spring, and summer – for fun little stories about sharing food with friends and family.
- I just finished a crib quilt top made up of raspberry kiss quilt blocks in pink, gray, silver, and black. It reminds me a bit, in the best way, of a 1950s kitchen, all pink and gray tile with chrome trim.
- Next up, a design taken from this gorgeous moth. Yes, this is a moth! This beauty was famously found in the Limberlost Swamp in Indiana and plays a role in The Girl of the Limberlost by Gene Stratton Porter. More on that soon.
